Am 29.1.24 fand der sogenannte English Day am ATG statt. Dieser richtete sich an alle 5. und 6. Klassen, die auch maßgeblich beim Gestalten des Tages mitwirkten. Wie der folgende Text einer 6. Klässlerin zeigt, war der Tag nicht nur ein voller Erfolg, sondern diente auch als Ansporn die Englische Sprache zu nutzen.
Our English day on 29.1.24 was great! In the morning a theatre group presented a theatre play. The play was about a white witch and a dark lord. At the end of the play a man said:,, If you find my firelight, I will show you the way to the castle .“ After the theatre we could prepare our own English games. My group prepared a memory. It was very cool. We could play other games in other class rooms. The winner got a sticker on his medallion. If you had six stickers, you could buy cookies.
